Service Recommendations for Piaget Watches
It is recommended having your Piaget timepiece serviced every 3 to 5 years, and alternating between maintenance and an overhaul to rectify the natural wear of components and the deterioration of oils in the timepiece. The exact schedule for maintenance, however, really depends on how your Piaget watch is used, the climate in which it is used and the activities to which it has been exposed.

Piaget Models We Repair
Founded by Georges Piaget in 1874, Piaget & Co. started off only as a manufacturer of watch movements, but after the turn of the century, Piaget began marketing its own line of luxury watches.
Georges Piaget was a farmer who became a watch movement manufacturer and assembler to earn extra money in the winter months. His first workshop was on his family’s farm, and from there he built up a following for his precision and master craftsmanship. Following in his father’s footsteps, Timothée Piaget took over the family firm in 1911 with the same passion for quality his father had.
Up until the 1960s, Piaget watches were focused on precise and reliable movements, and post-1960, Piaget expanded its expertise in the world of fine jewelry watches and innovative jewelry collections while still using precise, reliable movements. Boldness, expertise and imagination were all reflected in every jewelry watch Piaget produced.
What Makes Piaget Unique
Piaget is one of the few luxury timepieces handcrafted exclusively in high-grade platinum and gold. Since 1974, Piaget’s philosophy has been “Always do better than necessary,” and this creative spirit has led the company to many successes in high-precision and perfectionism.
