Raymond Weil Advertising Campaign

Luxury watchmaker, Raymond Weil, announced the launch of its 2011-2012 advertising campaign that will blend the brand’s innovative spirit with the constant inspiration it receives from music. Over the years, Raymond_Weil_newly_tuned_watchRaymond Weil has released many watch models and lines that contained musical connotations. The brand has also aligned itself with many of the greatest musical competitions and the company itself is headed by a musician.

The new advertising layout is completely unlike any of its former campaigns and brings together a music lifestyle with product photography. The photo shoot for the new ads took place at the infamous “Victoria Hall” in Geneva. Different ads show an individual male and individual female against a rich musical backdrop.

The new ads mark the company’s 35th year in business, and through its new campaign slogan, “Precision is my inspiration,” Raymond Weil captures the symbolism of music and watchmaking.

Speaking about the new campaign, Raymond Weil President and CEO, Olivier Bernheim said, “Along with international efforts to support individual spirits and future talent for generations to come, this campaign allows my family to express their true love, appreciation and respect for the arts. Watchmaking being one of them.”

The female model is Zhou Yun, China’s “Best Actress in Mainland.” Ms. Zhou also earned the 1st Asia Rainbow Awards title of “Best Actress.” She is well-known for her acting accomplishments and is the watch brand’s newest Ambassador.
