On the Wrists of Stars: Who Wears What

Ever wonder what stars and celebrities wear for wrist watches? There is an eclectic mix of superstars and super watch brands, but here is a rundown of who wears what.

Tag Heuer – Uma Thurman wears a Link Diamond; Brad Pitt, Monica Seles and Kirstin Scott Thomas all wear the Alter Ego. Colin Farrell wears the Kirium Formula 1; Tiger Woods sports a Link Automatic Chronograph, and Maria Sharapova shines with the 2000 Exclusive diamond model.

Omega – Pierce Brosnan was James Bond while wearing the Seamaster 300m Professional Diver watch; golf pros Ernie Els and Sergio Garcia tee off with the De Ville or Speedmaster Automatic Omega. Nicole Kidman, Cindy Crawford and Elle McPherson all wear the Constellation styles.

Ebel – Claudia Schiffer adorns the Classic Wave; Harrison Ford “faves” the Chronograph Sportwave. Melanie Griffiths, Glenn Close and Isabelle Adjani all wear the Beluga. It’s rumored that even Elvis Presley wore a custom Ebel made of 18k gold and 26 diamonds.

Cartier – Sarah, Duchess of York, Julia Roberts, Nicole Kidman and Princess Caroline of Monaco all wear the Panthere. Kurt Russell and Liam Neeson like the Santos. Tom Cruise, Stephanie Powers and Meryl Streep all have Cartiers, as do Robin Williams and Tom Selleck.

Rolex – In true powerful fashion, Rolex watches seem to be reserved for the elite and successful. Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, Bill Gates and Rupert Murdoch all wear a Rolex. Actors Sean Connery, Richard Gere and Michael Caine also wear Rolex timepieces.
